The board cited two specific concerns that triggered the review. The first is an alleged complaint about the film hurting religious sentiments. The second concern involves the questionable portrayal of the Indian armed forces. These are sensitive subjects in India, and the CBFC often takes a cautious approach.
With no clear timeline for when the Revising Committee would view the film and issue a new certificate, the producers made a practical choice. They decided to postpone the release indefinitely. Waiting for clearance would have meant missing the planned release date and losing extensive marketing investments.
