Night Song Teams with Aamir Khan Productions for Vir Das’s Directorial Debut
The music company Night Song has announced a major new project. It is creating the full soundtrack for the upcoming spy-comedy film Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos. The film is backed by the prestigious Aamir Khan Productions and marks the directorial debut of popular actor-comedian Vir Das. The movie is scheduled for release on January 16, 2026.

Night Song is quickly becoming a powerhouse in Indian entertainment music. Co-founded by Achint Thakkar and Parth Pandya, the company is known for crafting immersive soundscapes. Their previous work includes music for the hit series Scam 1992, the upcoming film Jigra, and the viral Coke Studio hit ‘Khalasi’. Crafting a Sonic World for a Spy Comedy
For Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, Night Song faced a unique creative challenge. The team was tasked with building a musical world that perfectly balances two genres. In mainstream Bollywood, it is common to have elaborate “item numbers” focused on a female performer. This song flips that trope by putting the male character at the center of the spectacle.

The final product blends club, funk, and alternative pop music. It is elevated by an earthy Indian instrumental hook. This gives the song a rustic feeling, almost like it belongs in a village market.
